The New York Comicon was held at Javits center this weekend.

Thumbnail for 3 page Comics

I started to work on a three page comics entitled "Mysterious Ring". I wanted to exercise how to tell a true story in comics form. Now I've completed the thumbnail, the next step is to make sure that the whole thing flows well, and if there is a frame that I don't particularly like, I do a few sketches with different angle, point of view, etc, until I'm satisfied with it.

Pictureless Comics

Doing a picture-less comics is a great exercise for comics story telling, as you can't rely on the image to tell a story. Here's the explanation for this piece: a couple gets lost in a snowstorm after their skiing trip. They seek refugee in a small cabin, only to find a bear already taking comfort inside.
